NTELS IoT Platform, N-MAS Obtains First-Level GS Certification
NTELS announced today that it has obtained the first level of GS (Good Software) certification for its IoT Platform, N-MAS from TTA (Telecommunications Technology Association). GS certification certifies good quality software based on international standards in terms of its functionality, performance, usability, reliability and security.Products with this certification can receive benefits, such as being included in the prioritized purchase list for projects conducted by public institutions. The company anticipates that it will be able to expand its IoT solution business to the public sector through the Public Procurement Service in the future.“By obtaining GS certification for our N-MAS, we have demonstrated our technical competence in IoT platform in the domestic market,” said Youngrae Choi, CEO at NTELS. “We expect that N-MAS can be evolved to a more comprehensive AI solution by utilizing IoT data it collects and processes for intelligence service modeling/development/operation and big data analysis based on MLOps (Machine Learning Operations).

NTELS Signed Deal with SKT for Edge Platform Project Worth of KRW 480 Million
NTELS announced today that it has signed a deal worth of KRW 480 million with SK Telecom to develop an ATSC 3.0-compliant media edge platform. ATSC 3.0 is a UHD broadcasting standard.The development project aims to upgrade the media edge platform developed by SK Telecom. NTELS will develop cloud-based virtualized media functions for broadcasting systems as well as a framework for workflow management and control.JaeYoung Park, the executive director of NTELS, said, “Our ATSC 3.0-compliant media edge platform will play the role of an integrated BSS and OSS solution for next generation converged media services for the first time in the broadcasting industry. Through this project, we anticipate that 5G MEC and cloud technologies will help bring innovation in the media industry.” He also emphasized that the company aims to lead the digital transformation in the media sector through the active collaboration with SK Telecom and CAST.ERA.
